2016 has been a big year for TigerText – we’ve experienced record growth, launched our most advanced clinical workflow solution, achieved HITRUST certification, and added several strategic members to our executive team. Biggest News for 2016
Perhaps our most exciting achievement for the year is the fact that we’ve evolved from providing a secure messaging application to a comprehensive clinical communications platform. Our latest offering, TigerFlow, is a first-of-its-kind, workflow-centric solution that combines an enterprise-wide platform with clinical integrations and intelligent workflow mapping to improve care team collaboration. New healthcare-centric features allow care teams to do things like look up and message on-call specialists, place phone calls to colleagues with a single tap, and provide visibility surrounding message send, delivery, and read receipts.
What Have We Learned?
Throughout the year we have learned a lot – most notably that we need to dive deeper into healthcare workflows and find new ways to impact those workflows and create cost savings. There’s an incredible opportunity within the healthcare industry to save money and also improve patient outcomes with a solution like TigerFlow. Our clients have saved millions of dollars and improved efficiencies in care using the tool.
Exciting 2016 Gadgets
The Amazon Echo seems to be the most impressive gadget of the year. Voice-activated devices like the Echo can be huge for the healthcare space, potentially enhancing communications and overall care.
Technology Expectations for 2017
In Southern California, Snapchat’s pending IPO will likely have a huge impact. It will be an exciting time. Overall, improvements in mobility will definitely be a major focus moving forward. There is an amazing opportunity that is still undiscovered when it comes to mobility for the enterprise.
