SANTA MONICA, CA, August 23, 2012 -TigerText, the leader in secure, real-time messaging, recently introduced “TigerPage” which enables users to turn their smartphones into a pager. TigerPage, which works within the existing TigerTextPRO application, functions just like a conventional pager but incorporates next generation features like the ability to leave voice messages, message transcription, and one-click call back capability directly from subscribers’ smartphones.
All TigerPage subscribers receive a unique phone number associated with their TigerTextPRO account. Once a caller leaves a message, TigerPage subscribers will immediately receive a push notification on their smartphone through the TigerTextPRO app where they can directly view the call back number and listen to or read the transcribed voice message. The subscriber can then immediately callback with the tap of a button. Physicians can share their TigerPage number with hospital operators, answering services, nurse and hospital staff, and lab technicians just like they would do with any other pager number.

TigerPage is the latest innovation released on the upgraded TigerTextPRO V2 platform. The upgrade also includes the ability to send large file attachments and a faster connection time. TigerPage is now available for iPhone and Android devices as well as the TigerText web portal.
